One of the questions that crops up when people find out that I work for myself is how do I stay productive. Many of my friends say that they wouldn’t get anything done if they worked from home. It’s all about balance. A mix of getting the work done but also still being able do have the personal life you want too. After all, that is what attracts many to freelancing or working from home.
It’s true, that without the usual constraints of a fixed working day, your 9-5 can span many hours. Personally, I am huge fan of an early start, for others they’d rather burn the midnight oil. Whenever you choose to work (or have to work to hit that deadline) being productive with your time is paramount for all of us.
